In Europe, students do not have access and visibility of their goals, progress and achievements at school. Without oversight of this sensitive information, students lack motivation to perform well in the classroom as they are not aware of their educational growth and how to get support.
GrowBit is a blockchain-based social classroom application that provides students a digital repository of their earned grades, achievements, and scholarships, in line with European Commission ESCO standards.
Each student receives weekly Bitcoin incentives, conveyed in the form of mini scholarships that can be withdrawn as funds or be spent in the form of vouchers, e-gifts and excursions. Students can also unlock badges through their achievements in class, exams and extra-curriculum activities, encouraging progress with their studies.
All goals and achievements registered are safely secured on a protected platform that students can access at any given time.
